We’re Josiah and Steph, a husband and wife team based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania that specialize in wedding photography and videography. We’re high school sweethearts who love a good story, whether it’s one we’re watching snuggled up on the couch or the story we’re telling of your wedding day.

It all began back in 2003 when a mutual friend introduced the two of us. A shared love of music, our faith and of course movies ultimately turned a middle school friendship into a relationship (and then a marriage in 2015).
Our relationship has always involved stories and visuals. During high school we didn’t feel like there was all that much to do in the town we grew up in, so watching movies was just what we did when we hung out. Whether that was at the movie theater or at one of our houses, getting lost in a good movie has always been a part of our story.

We love taking a trip to a galaxy far, far away, or maybe just back in time to 1955.
Just as movies paint a realistic picture of someone else's life, we too strive to create genuine, authentic images that are truly you. Our entire process is based around the idea that your relationship should guide the photos. We create these authentic images with you by simply asking questions, giving you prompts and allowing you to interact with one another. We'll play games, have a lot of fun and come away with some incredible images that really show off your love for one another.

What Is Eloping?
An elopement is a wedding day that is planned exactly for you to celebrate in a way that is unique and true to you without the focus or stress going to creating an entertaining day for your guests. That’s right, I did say guests because eloping also doesn’t mean just the two of you running off to some far off country (or Vegas) and getting married. It can be a celebration with your very closest friends and family in your backyard, your favorite distillery, beer garden, rooftop or a scenic mountaintop. Elopements are intimate, personal, emotional, freeing and uniquely you. Elopements to us mean being surrounded by love and committing your lives to one another in your own way.
Let's bust the myth
Elopements don't always have to happen on a mountaintop scenic overlook. They can take place in your city or suburb. There are sooo many options so think outside the box!
THEY CAN BE URBAN
Elopements can be simple, chill, and easy at a single location, or you can do and visit a bunch of locations. Whatever you describe as your perfect day is what we suggest!

Elopements used to mean running off to Vegas, but now it can include almost two dozen of your closest friends & family. If you want loved ones around then do it!

You and your future spouse can get ready together or separately at an AirBnB in the city and have an intimate, in home first look in the living room or rooftop.
Drop in on Attico Rooftop Bar & Restaraunt for some drinks and food to kick off your wedding day.
Head to Love Park and capture the classic photo in front of the LOVE sign.
Say your vows at the charming and quirky Magic Gardens of Philadelphia
Drop on down to Race Street Pier and the Ben Franklin Bridge for some additional portraits.
Head back to the AirBnb for an in home dinner prepared by a private chef. We'll also give you some time to be alone.
After dinner, pop over to Spruce Street Harbor Park for Hammocks, Games, and some chill times and maybe some night time portraits.
Finish out the night with some epic and unique night shots at the Electric Street Mural before heading back to the AirBnb.

Summertime Beach elopement

You and your future spouse can get ready at Congress Hall in Cape May and share in a first look out on the patio or walkway.
Head down to the beach with a picnic basket and some food for a light lunch and some portraits on the beach. We'll be sure to find a private spot for you.
After your lunch or whenever you're ready, you guys can share your vows with one another and officially be married!
Afterwards, you can grab some bikes and go for a little ride around town. You can stop at some vineyards if you'd like or maybe for a drink at a local bar.
Catch your boat for a private dinner on the ocean.
Let's head back to the beach/bay for some sunset photos.
Finish out the night with some epic and unique night shots at the Wildwood Boardwalk or Pier.

Head back to your home or Airbnb for a private dinner or invite your friends over and hang with them for the rest of the night.
If you didn't invite friends over, let's head back to a local park or scenic spot for some sunset images!
Finish out the night in a beer garden or outdoor spot with some drinks and friends.

When we photograph a wedding, we believe we’re capturing memories knowing that they'll live on for years, decades and potentially centuries. We shoot to freeze time, a moment that will never happen exactly the same again in your lifetime. As if it were a window that you can look into from the outside and see a memory, part of your life, your friend's, your parent's or even great grandparent's lives, and experience it for yourself all over again.

We include a complimentary engagement session in all of our collections because we feel that it is vital for you to shoot with us before your wedding day. We get to learn what poses look best on you and what makes you most comfortable in front of camera. It’s also just a lot of fun and that’s what we’re all about!
